Role & responsibilities

At Delphox Foods we're building more than a restaurant — we're building a team of food professionals. This role is in our Marathahalli hybrid cloud kitchen, serving kiosk, takeaway and walk-in guests today, with app ordering and delivery planned.

Your role

As a Kitchen Operations Associate you play a vital part in the day-to-day running of the kitchen: consistent food quality, the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, smooth outlet operations, and an excellent customer experience — all by following our Standard Operating Procedures.

Position grades

  • Grade I — Entry level
  • Grade II — Intermediate level
  • Grade III — Advanced level

The grade, responsibilities and compensation are set during recruitment, based on qualifications, skills, experience and overall suitability for the role.

Key responsibilities

Food preparation

  • Prepare fresh menu items following Delphox Foods' SOPs.
  • Wash, cut, portion, clean, trim, marinate and correctly store chicken and other ingredients.
  • Keep food quality, taste, portion size and presentation consistent.

Inventory & storage

  • Receive, inspect, organise and store raw materials.
  • Follow FIFO (first in, first out) stock practice.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages promptly.
  • Identify and report expired, damaged, spoiled or unsafe raw materials immediately.
  • Keep storage areas clean, organised and hygienic.

Hygiene & food safety

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the outlet.
  • Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, storage and customer-facing areas.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Complete the daily cleaning and operational checklists.

Customer & outlet operations

  • Pack customer orders accurately for takeaway.
  • Serve walk-in customers professionally and courteously.
  • Carry out opening and closing duties according to company SOPs.

Once delivery launches

We don't deliver today — these duties begin only if and when we do.

  • Coordinate timely handover of orders to delivery partners.
  • Deliver customer orders locally whenever operationally required.

Additional responsibilities

  • Take on other kitchen, food preparation, cleaning, packing, inventory, customer service and takeaway duties as reasonably assigned.
  • Be willing to work at any current or future outlet, central kitchen or business location operated by The Delphox Kitchen Group.
  • Support new outlet launches, promotional campaigns, food festivals, exhibitions, corporate events and outdoor stalls when assigned.
  • Take part in training programmes and keep building new skills and operational knowledge.
